Old race cars and old airplanes will share the paddock and race track at Sebring International Raceway this weekend, Dec. 1 - 4.
According Historic Sportscar Racing the likes of 1989 24 Hours of Le Mans winner Jochen Mass, Andy Wallace, Butch Leitzinger, Frank Stippler, Ollie Bryant, Chris Dyson, Randy Pobst and Eric Curran will be in attendance. Mass will be driving a 1969 Ferrari 365 Daytona while Wallace will pilot a 2005 Audi R8 LMS. Leitzinger will co-drive an Oreca FLM09 "PC" car with Juan Gonzalez at Sebring.
In addition Curran, who clinched the IMSA Prototype crown with co-driver Dane Cameron just last month, will coach several Hudson Historics Corvette Daytona Prototype competitors, including co-driving one of the Vettes with teammate William Hubbell. Dyson will compete in a 2000 Lola/MG B01/60 while Stippler will drive a 2006 Ford GT Mk7 with Georg Nolte. Bryant will share their big-bore 1967 Camaro Z/28.
The Pistons and Props portion of the event will see vintage aircraft land on one of the Sebring runways and taxi into the paddock to be displayed right alongside the historic race cars.
