The Mobil 1 Twelve Hours of Sebring Fueled by Fresh From Florida set for Saturday, March 18, but before the IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship teams take on the bumps of old Hendricks Army Air Field for 12 long hours they get a chance to test man a machine prior to the main event.
A two-day IMSA-sanctioned test at Sebring International Raceway takes place on Thursday and Friday, Feb. 23-24. According to the entry list released today from IMSA, 34 cars are expected to participate in the test across the four classes.
The headlining Prototype class will have 10 cars taking advantage of the track time including Rolex 24 winners Jordan and Ricky Taylor in the No.10 Konica Minolta Cadillac DPI-V.R. The Taylor brothers will be joined by Briton Alex Lynn who replaces the recently retired Max Angelelli.
Both Tequila Patrón ESM Nissan DPi cars as well as both Mazda DPi cars, both Action Express Racing Cadillacs, the single JDC-Miller Oreca and Visit Florida Racing's Mutlimatic/Riley are all listed to attend.
In GTLM will have both Corvettes, both BMW's. two Ford GTs and a single Ferrari and Porsche taking to the track.
A total of 15 GTD's are also entered.
If you want to attend it will cost you $10.00. If you already have a ticket for this year's race you can get in free, or if you are 55 years old or plus you can also get in free. No overnight camping and limited concessions.
